A WORKING LIFE ACROSS SERVICE, TECHNOLOGY, ENTERPRISE AND SUSTAINABILITY
Gregory Hannan
Gregory Hannan’s story is not built around a single profession. It is the story of repeated reinvention—moving from service and discipline into technology, business, environmental markets, agriculture and authorship.

TECHNOLOGY AND ENTERPRISE
From the mid-1990s, Gregory became involved in enterprise computing, telecommunications, e-commerce, customer relationship management and digital payment systems. This period established his interest in how technology can help ordinary people and businesses participate in larger economic networks.
SUSTAINABILITY AND AGRICULTURE
Gregory later expanded into food production, Moringa cultivation, sustainable agribusiness and carbon markets. His work has included projects and relationships across Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Bougainville, the Philippines and the wider Asia-Pacific region.
WRITING AND EDUCATION
Gregory now uses books to explain complex subjects in plain language. His goal is not to offer certainty where none exists, but to give readers a stronger foundation for asking questions, recognising risk and understanding opportunity.
MAINSTREET MONEY
In 2001, Gregory founded the MainStreet Money concept around a simple observation: every town and community has a Main Street. The long-term vision was to create a digital equivalent where members, merchants and project owners could connect through trusted relationships and practical commercial utility.

I have never believed that useful knowledge should remain locked inside institutions, specialist industries or professional networks. My books are written to help readers understand the systems changing the world around them—and to see where practical opportunity may exist.
